Terrible shortage [[of perspective]]

Geez sometimes I get sick to my stomach when I hear about all the sacrifices people are having to make in this recession. No vacation this year? Tragic. How about the worst case imaginable – loss of a job. Incredibly difficult to keep a $200,000 home when you lose your job. I completely agree. Are we listening to ourselves? So we lose our big paying job & have to move into a home that doesn’t have a spare bedroom. Seriously. That’s the worst? Or maybe we have to rely on our government to give us alittle help with the grocery bill. What happens if a kid breaks her arm while her parents are laid off. No insurance. Has that ever stopped a hospital in the United States of America from giving her pain medicine, setting it and giving her a cast until it heals? No more griping and complaining. This goes for me too. The song Innocent’s Corner was written by a band who traveled with Compassion International and the Dalit Freedom Network to India. They witnessed the plight of the Dalit people. Watch this video and count your blessings Americans. We have no idea. “Ours is a land with a terrible shortage of harvests to share and breathable air.”
